The Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College draws together teaching and research in the field, building on decades of design engineering successes across Imperial College and through its collaboration with the Royal College of Art.

We are now hiring and welcome applications from candidates with a passion for technology and societal challenges.
More specifically, we are currently seeking to recruit five Ph.D. candidates in the I3 Lab to commence in October 2022 to work on research projects in the areas of transportation and mobility; energy; food and health; and in circular business models.
Studentship Opportunities
- Circularity and tyre emissions (1 post).
- Energy tracing, ethical battery management, and circularity (1 post).
- Mechanism, infrastructure design, and support analytics to support circularity (1 post).
- Open calls for Circularity (2 posts).
- Beyond head kinematics: a modelling and AI based tool for predicting effects of head impacts on the brain in sporting collisions.
